El manejo terapéutico del traumatismo craneoencefálico (TCE) va a depender de la situación clínica del enfermo, de la gravedad del TCE (medido por la Glasgow Coma Score – GCS) así como de la presencia de lesiones estructurales o cambios fisiopatológicos cerebrales que condicionen una repercusión importante sobre el contenido intracraneal.
